Torsten Menzel is working at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences together with Prof. Dr. K. Hänßgen from the Institute of Information systems and Multimedia Technology. His research interest concentrates on internet technologies, e.g. Java, XML, web graphics and open source databases.

With his background in mechanical engineering, he worked for several years in marketing and business development with large MNC's such as Black&Decker and Schlumberger, before he decided to study the European Economic Integration.

  Erlina Cut-Hennies Diplom-Betriebswirtin (FH), MSc

Before becoming a member of OpenUSS developer, Erlina gained a degree in Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences, Muenster, Germany. Erlina developed a WAP access for OpenUSS that was done for her MSc-IT project in Queen Mary, University of London, England.

  Ingo Düppe, student at the Unversity of Münster

Before becoming a member of OpenUSS developer, Ingo wrote his bachelor paper about performance measurement system for learning management systems. Due to this paper he developes the OpenCPMS Software (Open Controlling Performance Measurement System) as a module for OpenUSS.

Spanish translation, documentation and development. Check out this picture on the left side: They run Sun server with SuSe Linux using JDK from Blackdown.org for their OpenUSS server! Pretty cool! Of course, they also like Java caffee ;-)
